Ihram rituals
first step :
The first stage of Umrah is Ihram and begins when you arrive at the Miqat, which is the specific area that you must enter before starting to perform Umrah. At this stage, you make spiritual preparations and make a sincere intention to perform Umrah.
second step :
After entering ihram, you head to the Grand Mosque in Mecca, where you perform seven rounds between Safa and Marwa. He begins by ascending to Safa and Marwah and striving between them, walking or running.
third step :
After the Talbiyah, head to the Holy Kaaba to perform Tawaf. Circumambulating around the Kaaba seven times in a clockwise direction, this activity is an expression of loyalty and closeness to God.
fourth step :
After Tawaf, return to Safa and Marwah to perform Sa'y.
You head between Safa and Marwa seven more times, recalling the story of our Lady Hagar and her son Ismail.
Step five:
Upon completion of the sa'y, the hair is cut or its ends are partially cut, and this indicates disavowal of ihram after performing the rituals. Men can also shave their entire heads.
